Privacy Policy

Your data, kept short.

Last updated 5 June 2026

Passepartout is designed to forget you on purpose. There’s no account, no advertising tracker, and nothing about you for sale. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.

The short version

No account. No sign-up. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use advertising trackers. We only process what’s needed to return your flight results, and we keep it for as little time as possible.

1. Who we are

Passepartout (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an independent app operated by Savrum Solutions BV. For any privacy question, contact [email protected]. Savrum Solutions BV is responsible for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

We keep collection to the minimum the app needs to work:

  • Search inputs. The airports, dates, and destinations you enter so we can find flights. These are sent to our flight-search backend to return results.
  • Approximate location (optional). Only if you grant the permission, and only to suggest nearby airports. You can use the app without it.
  • Basic technical & diagnostic data. Things like app version, device type, and crash logs that help us fix problems and keep the service running. This is not used to identify you.
  • Messages you send us. If you email support, we keep that correspondence to reply and follow up.

We do not ask for your name, we do not require an account, and we do not handle any payment or booking information — bookings happen on third-party sites we send you to.

3. What we do not do

  • We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
  • We don’t use advertising or cross-app tracking cookies.
  • We don’t build an advertising profile of you.
  • We don’t require you to create an account or share an email to use the app.

4. How we use what we collect

  • To run your flight searches and show you results.
  • To suggest nearby airports, if you allow location access.
  • To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and keep the app working.
  • To respond to your support messages.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example, the EU/UK GDPR), we rely on our legitimate interest in providing and improving the app, on your consent (for optional permissions such as location), and on compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

5. Third-party services

To do its job, the app relies on a few outside services, each with its own privacy practices:

  • Flight data providers. Your search terms are used to query publicly available flight data (built with the open-source fast-flights library).
  • Map provider. The map is served by a third-party map service to display airports and routes.
  • Booking sites. When you choose a flight, we link you out to a third-party booking site. Once you leave the app, that site’s own privacy policy and terms apply — we’re not part of that transaction.
  • App platforms. Apple App Store and Google Play may collect their own analytics about downloads and crashes under their respective privacy policies.

6. How long we keep data

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Search inputs are used to return results and are not tied to a personal profile. Diagnostic logs and support emails are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

7. Children

Passepartout is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Because we don’t maintain accounts, we may hold little or no data tied to you — but you can still reach us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security — but holding very little is itself a strong protection.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top, and significant changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
